Internatioanl Green Campus Alliance Calls for Entries

Green building has become a widely recognized notion in the world and in its path towards maturity and transformation, Green Campus is increasingly leading the direction, providing major arena where international exchanges and cooperation are going on. Campuses are important places for education, science, research and social service. They are major components of society, as much as great energy consumers, using energy huge quantity and diverse forms. Green Campus is an approach to energy efficient society and has far reaching significance for green education.

Against this background, China Green Building Council and world-renowned institutions jointly initiate the International Green Campus Alliance. The Alliance is to strengthen the cooperation and exchange among all universities, colleges, middle and primary schools all over the world; enhance the green implement in campuses, technical innovation, collaborative research and development and promotion in areas of green campus implement, building energy efficiency and emission reduction; to provided technical support for enduring pursuit of green campus and for national and local governments’ green campus construction and management policies; and to nurture high-quality talents who will work for and push forwards energy efficiency and emission reduction in campuses.
